Used ResMed AirSense 11: price, recall status and consignment
The AirSense 11 is the current ResMed CPAP platform: the AutoSet for obstructive sleep apnea and the ASV for central and complex apnea, both with a built-in humidifier, cellular connectivity and the myAir app. DME suppliers buy them in quantity for patient setups, which is why new-in-box and lightly used units both move well.

$250 – $300 for a used AirSense 11 AutoSet, $350 – $500 new in box, and $1,650 – $1,750 for a new AirSense 11 ASV with all accessories.
Recall status
Every serial number is checked against open FDA recalls and manufacturer field safety notices before listing. Ask for the screening result on any unit.
What to check when buying used
- Blower hours, from the device information screen; new-in-box units read zero.
- Whether the humidifier chamber, tubing, power supply and SD card ship with the unit; all accessories included is the usual expectation.
- That the unit is the AutoSet or the ASV, since the ASV sells for several times the AutoSet price.
- Cosmetic condition and the state of the water tub seal on used units.
- A serial-number check against open FDA recalls and ResMed field safety notices before it is set up for a patient.

On consignment a used AirSense 11 AutoSet pays out about $150 – $210, a new-in-box AutoSet $245 – $350 and a new ASV $1,150 – $1,225, at 70% of the net margin.
